Maandy ended 2023 on a high by releasing the Dem Mauru EP on 30th December. The EP, a collection of some of her biggest hits throughout the year 2023 and two new releases, featured six songs; “How Come,” “Lele,” “Dem Mauru,” “Mbichi,” “Bubbly Bubbly (Na Niki),” and “Emba.”
The EP marked her second project of the year following Flavour, which came in May.
Dem Mauru EP Production
Maandy was the shining light throughout the project, with Breeder and Metro Suka Doba being the only featured artists.
Metro Suka Doba primarily handled production on the short Arbantone-heavy project full of club bangers. All the songs in the EP, apart from “Emba,” use old-school dancehall songs and riddim instrumentals.
