Following the proposed Finance Bill 2024 that would impose higher taxes on Kenyans, the youth hit the streets to oppose it sparking the Anti-Finance bill protests.
Albeit starting peacefully the weeks prior, June 25th was a turning point in the tale and will remain etched in Kenya’s history books.
